This is especially good for bossing, since bosses are probably going to have above average resistances to skill. You’ll want at least some Resistance Piercing so that you have guaranteed good damage, even if the monsters you fight are supposed to be Skill damage tanks. So, while having high power is critical, forcing the DPS you deal to be cut in half will mean your Power will have diminishing returns. They can tank a lot of the damage you output through skills and laugh. However, for the late game… Some of the enemies you face are absolute beasts. While some enemies do have great resistance to Skill damage, especially later on, you’re going to want to make sure you have the damage to support your Piercing in the first place. This is less important than generic Anomaly Power if you’re looking for straight skill damage. Thankfully, it seems that Resistance Piercing affects all skills, and you don’t need to build piercing for a specific type of element. From what we know for sure, this statistic only affects Skill Damage, and doesn’t do much for Gun Damage. For example, if you have 30% Resistance Piercing, and your enemy has 50% Skill Resistance, it only takes 20% less Skill Damage. Outriders Resistance Piercing means how much damage resistance your Skills ignore when you attack an enemy. There are way too many different things to look at, and some of these stats are super important! One thing that’s kind of tucked away in Outriders is Resistance Piercing, and… What the heck does that even mean? If you’re wondering this, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! This quick guide will help explain what it does and if you should want it. Outriders is a game with a ton of different stats and attributes to look at. Pick up my sci-fi novels the Herokiller series, and The Earthborn Trilogy, which is also on audiobook. Well, I would if matchmaking would work.įollow me on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Perhaps I’ll add more if I think of anything else as I play more. I think this is a bug, but the loot is there, it’s just not notifying you of that fact. So check your inventory and if you have any higher power/higher level items you don’t remember getting, that’s probably where they came from. Second, you actually are getting loot from the end of the mission, but you no longer have a choice of what drops, and the loot goes directly into your inventory without showing up on the screen in anyway. I believe that if you log out and log back in, those end chests should respawn, so you may have to do that if you are trying to run the same mission on repeat. One odd thing I noticed was that the game told me that I could get more loot from replaying side missions, but sometimes I would get through a mission, the final chest would be open, and I would get no end of run reward I could see. Replaying Mission Gives You Loot In A Weird Way There are quite a few of these overall.ĥ. The one I can think of off the top of my head is the mission that has you rescue the vendor girl within the main base, and that has a hidden chest by the final door, under the platform stairs you ascend to reach it. It bothers me that loot chests and ammo chests often look too similar, but explore and you will be rewarded. Pretty much all of them are hiding a second loot chest somewhere besides the end. This is one thing I’ve noticed as I’ve started to do repeated side missions. Every Side Mission Probably Has A Hidden Chest
